Don't know why this song is just stuck in my head. Besides being one of my favorite groups when it comes to music I think every guy can relate to the song Beggin. A true slept on classic, just figured I would share it with those who haven't heard, or have forgotten. The video is not an official music video but made by a fan. Regardless it is quite simple but very artistically creative. Enjoy and stay tuned

Airing a couple of days ago, I thought it was pretty cool. People that don't know what Cudi is about got a first hand look. I appreciate BET keeping music on their network. So a couple of live performances and a few insights into Scott Mescudi's life, go support his album that dropped tuesday !

Big shouts to Nero, a genuine dude in this confused world called Hip-Hop. Crazy talent coming out of this kid. What kid turning 17 can rock like this. I see you Nero, and was that my homie Mike Waxx lol. This video is straight classic old school appeal to go with a dope track I thoroughly enjoy! Keeping it fresh stay tuned.
So everyone hates Kanye? Well except for MTV, Jay Leno, and Taylor Swifts I-Tunes sales. The publicity stunt is a very clever and actually was pulled off! So Kanye is on Jay Leno tonight, coincidence number 1. MTV fell to Fuse in ratings with the jay z concert, with taylor swift in 25 percent of the commercials up to the point of the evidence. My film background cut into play when the camera shied away with enough time to let him on stage. Now was it coincidence they put the camera on pink all of a sudden and shifted with out making it abruptly. So with the camera angles are not adding up and plenty of ratings and money MTV pulls off the biggest Punk'd without Ashton. Theres plenty of production clues, so ya MTV wins Jay leno's ratings win, and Taylor Swifts I-tune sales. Kanye wins as well cause his name is falling out of everyones mouth every 20 seconds any publicity is good publicity to that gentleman. By the way who let him on the red carpet with a bottle of hennessy to help add to the conspiracy. So Taylor Swift loses her teeny bopper status and becomes a household name, if she wasn't already. She's seeing big $$$$ out of this. Congrats to Taylor Swift you deserved the award regardless of this stunt. For now lay off hating Kanye and enjoy these spoofs on Mr. West below.

A great live show Wednesday night September 9th. Got there around 7ish, Asher Roth opened around 8:15. With bright lights and a decent setup N.E.R.D took to the stage with plenty of songs to have the crowd involved. Performing songs off all their albums including one of an upcoming album with a new female member Rhea (Sexy!). Show ended a little after 11 but was totally worth the traveling to the venue of Governors Island. Enjoy the footage.

The official summer party ......Williamsburg Waterfront Pool Parties 8/23. Shot this video from side stage and back angles. Enjoy the Girl Talk Performance from Sunday 8/23 Williamsburg (Brooklyn) NY. Crazy Rage party weather held up when the stage couldn't. It was a great show and overall great day. Playing one classic set after another it's great to be a part of an event like that.

Pogo just brought my childhood back full circle. Having tracks such as 'Bangarang' which is composed of sounds from the Spielberg classic film 'Hook', a sine wave bass, and a few cymbals for a track worth listening to. I've become an instant fan of the newly surfaced Pogo. Go check more of his work at his MYSPACE.

This is a favorite of mine for sure, it's been on permanent replay. Kid Cudi rips apart all the boundaries of the mythical word "genre" with this track. MGMT and Ratatat do nothing but add to the madness of the rumored third single of "Man on the Moon : End of Day." This is great to see three of my favorite music artists/groups collaborating on one project, with a Jimmi Hendrix vibe to it. Personally I'm excited for the dance mixes and video for this track. Download link below, but go out and purchase the whole album and support artists like Kid Cudi. Keep it tuned

The second single out from The Death of Adam, with another clever video from 88 keys. The songs lyrics are just original pop up words that every guy is thinking chasing girls. With the whole album explaining the ordeal, of Adam this is just one chapter. Definitely one of those albums that still is under-rated, but is climbing to where it should be (In your I-tunes). Support great music and stay tuned.

The exhibition Black Light will be accompanied by, Black Light, a full-color book published by Powerhouse and will be available at Deitch Projects
A dope artist whose work will be in full effect this month and is worthy of at least one visit to the exhibition. His artwork shows African American men dressed in a today style look in poses of early america vision. Art is dope when it has meaning behind it, be on the lookout for Kehinde Wiley. Definitely check out the exhibit if you can.
Regardless of what they wear they get you moving. Who said Glamour wasn't around still. All jokes aside LMFAO has burst onto the scene, and are being noticed for more then just what their wearing. With jams like "Im in Miami Bitch," as well as " La La La" the vans rocking duo have solidified plenty of club play. It's easy to get caught up in their slick voices that do their beats justice, especially in the climax style of each song. The building beats lead the average dancer to just let loose and Dance Dance Dance Dance. This proves that you don't have to be commercialized to make it. LMFAO does it their way and it's great to have an entire album of fun dance music. My outlook is they don't care what you think, the tons of sounds jammed packed into one album is your tool to get away from mainstream overplay. Go out and request an LMFAO song and notice what comes through your local speakers. Congrats and thank you to Redfoo (Stephen Kendal Gordy) and Sky Blu (Skyler Gordy) Tracks To Check Out
1. Rock The BeaT
2. I'm In Miami Bitch
5. La La La
7. Leaving U 4 The Groove
12. I Am Not A Whore
OVERALL RATING OUT OF FIVE (***)
The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day is the sequel to the original cult classic, The Boondock Saints. The film is written & directed by Troy Duffy. The continuation of the story of the MacManus brothers (Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery) gives everyone the follow up and introduces them to a whole new generation. The story shows the two coming out of hiding in the valleys of Ireland. Returning to offer suffering to those who deserve it as they once had. They are one stronger, with a new partner in crime played by Clifton Collins, (Star Trek). Sure to have plenty of buzz to be a blockbuster, question is are you ready.
Starring: Sean Patrick Flanerv, Norman Reedus, Clifton Collins Jr., Julie Benz, and introducing Peter Fonda.
Written and Directed by: Troy Duffy
Speaks on the next album entitled "Cudder," which he says could host a plenty of collab's with artist's like Green Day, MGMT, Drake, Jay-Z and ALchemist. If he can grab this full spectrum of artist's, this can be a dope album. The long delayed debut album Man on the Moon drops September 15.

This is great Isn't it great artists dabbling in other artists songs. It creates a whole different view of music. Being able to see both of these groups live months ago was definitely a great experience. Both groups are good friends, and share that same DYI sound, it is pretty cool. They still remain both under the covers of the mainstream, but that seems to be a good thing for both. I wish nothing but success for the double duo's from NY. Support great music as well as these artists.
I'm all for artist's that interact and continue to keep fans attention. The above cover is not only genius, but is what the fans voted upon. Chesterfrench.com is holding a fan voting of their next cover now so go hurry and vote. Stay tuned and support this band as well as what the stand for in music. Thats refreshing, music in a time when its most needed. They stand for more then they receive credit for, and are building a fan base that other artists dream of. So go buy the album, and stay tuned to the next fan voted cover song from Chester French. (D.A. Max Matt Omar and Manny see all of you guys soon)
