There are those guys in the game you just got to look up to. At the same time find your place behind them. Adam Goldstein is one of those guys. Separation from the rest of the game wether it was the kicks on his feet or the tunes he ripped he is and always will be DJ AM. Touching every DJ as well as genre's of music, you just got lost in the translation of music. He will be remembered for his fashion his style of Djing and the passion he displayed on each set. He will be missed and even more he will be remembered. His last tweet on twitter was,"New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems." Rest in peace but we shall rally as one using the tool of music in your honor. - KiddFuture

A music video finally drops for the track, "She don't want a man," featuring Keri Hilson. A clever track from the duo and it seems it's always a good time around these people. Great to see someone having fun with their career and just taking it as it comes. Asher Roth I believe is here to stay, he definitely is gaining fans plus momentum in the music biz. Keeping it fresh, stay tuned for more news on the boy wonder.

Whiz Khalifa: Williamsburg Waterfront Concert

August 23 was one concert Williamsburg will never forget. Thousands packed in, and tons didn't get in. Max Tundra opened and Wiz Khalifa got the crowd pumping. Preforming new material as well as some of his earlier material he's best known for. A solid performance, and a good choice of an opener for an act like Girl Talk. Special thanks to Wiz Khalifa for sporting a fresh cloudkicker T-shirt onstage.

Go Check out : Fat Beats

406 Sixth Ave, 2nd Floor
New York, NY
212-673-3883
In 1994, Joseph Abajian had aspirations of opening a record shop in New York “to preserve the foundation of hip-hop” and to provide a one-stop shop for enthusiasts. Ten years later, what started out as a cramped store in an East Village basement has flourished into a chain of Fat Beats stores in NYC, L.A. and Amsterdam, and a label distribution arm that posted $4millin in sales in 2003. Conveniently located in Greenwich Village, the flagship New York store is the Mecca for underground hip-hop in the city, with stickers and posters plastered on its walls and ceilings, and a pair of turntables for visiting DJs. The merch varies from hard-to-find vinyl from indies like Definitive Jux an Stones Throw to classics and break beats to DJ paraphernalia. Fat Beats’ hallowed halls have welcomed everyone from Outkast to KRS-One for in-store signings and performances, adding to a history that’s made it live up to its slogan, “The last stop for hip-hop”.

What's New With NeFF Headwear

NEFF is now making moves into streetwear with tees, jackets, hoodies and accessories – so far, so dope. It all starts and ends with headwear at NEFF.The Aoki Beanie in gray, black and purple, featuring perfect distress points – perfect, as in, we didn’t have to take the scissors to it or ask a grimy friend to break it in for us.
Conquering the realm of headwear, NEFF made the natural move to keep the remaining extremities warm and recently introduced The Slick Jacket and The Lumberjack Hoodie. A polyester shell coupled with a nylon lining equals totally waterproof, and aesthically, The Slick Jacket is as fresh as 10″ of powder at the top of the mountain. With the zip-away hood and so many stash pockets that even your dope dealer won’t know what to do with ‘em, as well as the elastic waist and cuff support, this joint’s a keeper until the really heavy cold hits. The Lumberjack Hoodie. Thicker’n Biggie with the same plaid pattern he loved so dearly, the flannel frame keeps the heat in with a polyester lining keeping the wet out. Ideal for those cold nights on the streets slangin’- uh, we mean, cold nights on the slopes, loungin’ after a day filled with perfect runs and limited bails. For more on NeFF click the logo on the side bar or visit the karma Loop link here (NEFF)

Motion Family Presents: Asher Roth Live In Atlanta - The Great Hangover Tour

Asher Roth – The Great Hangover Tour from Motion Family on Vimeo.

This is a very well put together video by the guys at Motion family that give you a glimpse of the performance as well as some of the behind the scenes footage of Asher Roth on his tour with Kid Cudi, B.o.B., and Pac Div. This is why Asher Roth is above most hip-hop stars or even musicians of today, plain and simple he's on the same level as the average joe. He is just living the high of being on tour and enjoying every second of it. We met up at Nokia Theatre, in July and the dude is a good guy to kick it with. Girls go nuts for him, guys sing every lyric of his tunes. Never saw the dude not smile even for a second. Thank you Motion Family, and Asher Roth and Company.

KUROSHIO SEA - SECOND LARGEST AQUARIUM TANK IN THE WORLD

Kuroshio Sea - 2nd largest aquarium tank in the world - (song is Please don't go by Barcelona) from Jon Rawlinson on Vimeo.

Amazing! Looks sort of Animated but totally is real. Located in the Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan, the enormous tank is some ten metres deep, 35 metres wide and 27 metres long.
But the daddy of them all is the world's biggest fish, the whale shark; which can grow to be 12 metres long and needs a quarter of a tonne of food every week.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs -SneakSweat (Short Film)

Combining everything from art, and music, to Cinematography this video delivers. A short film featuring the YYYs playing sort of twisted versions of themselves. Together, they try to "lose their minds in order to recover purity of truth." Directed by Karen O and Barney Clay.

DRaKe SERIOUSLY ?

Knee problems or just cant perform. Those are the trending topics in the Drake world. Whatever is true i think it's time he disappears out of the light a little. This dude has more scrutiny then the MLB's steroid problem. Hope he can survive the bumpy year of a freshman Hip Hop star. Lil Wayne helping or hurting? Watch the video around 34 seconds he claims he spun awkwardly or did he trip over the note he couldn't hit without autotune? I wish him the best, with his surgery and his career, Drake keeps it real.
