Johnny Depp is The Mad Hatter

Johnny Depp playing the Madd Hatter seems perfect. Depp will be working along side Helena Bonham Carter for the forth time under Tim Burton. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have already worked together on movies such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Corpse Bride (2005), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Ed Wood (1994) and Edward Scissorhands (1990). Johnny Depp is also rumored to play in Dark Shadows directed by Tim Burton and scheduled for 2010. A relative unknown Mia Wasikowska who is only 19 years of age, from Australia, will be playing Alice. Seventeen-year-old Alice struggles to fit into Victorian society and is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of people at a garden party. She flees the party and spots the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen) and follows him down a hole and into Wonderland. While film fans will have to wait until March 2010 to see the film it's safe to say in my Jack Nicholson voice "heres Johnnnyyyyyy."
